I was driving around Downtown Owosso at night, headed home from some party or something, and it was snowing hardcore. Because of poor plowing, every road north of the Junior High School was blocked by about 5 feet of fresh fallen snow. For some reason, there was also about a 12 foot brick wall at the side of each road, and to let people pass from one side to the other, workers were hired to tear down a portion of the wall, and we all crossed Old-School-Obstacle-Course-Style, instead of climbing over the 5 feet of plowed snow.
Lights were installed at each wall, and worked just like traffic lights. It took a couple cycles for me to make it over, and for a period of time, I got stuck on the bottom just helping other people over, and missed my chance a couple of times. But I made it over, and when I got to the other side, there were hundreds of people waiting to get through, and they all had this look on their faces that made it seem like the end of the world, and they were so happy to get across. After crossing, I was applauded for my triumphant victory of crossing the wall, and I continued my journey home.
I was abruptly awoken by either my blankets pulling a hair on my back, or a spider bite. I then proceeded to lay in bed for 2 hours, paranoid about the fact that there could be a spider in my bed, and I was going to get bit again. But I was too lazy to get up and check, in fear of not being able to fall back to sleep. But in combination of a text from my mother and an email regarding tree vandalization at a local apartment complex, returning to the sweet state of sleep was impossible.
