Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I moved back home for a month for winter break, and I've been a little busy (or lazy, it's all perspective). But now I've got a couple dreams that I'd like to share.
Dream 1
About a week ago, I had a dream where I re-lived my first day of Finals Week. I walked across campus in the morning, it was about 40 degrees out, and when I got to the building of my first exam, I realized how badly I needed to use the restroom. I remember having little time to go, but it was a necessity. When I entered the bathroom, there were 5 urinals, all tightly packed next to each other, needless to say, things got awkward.
I finished up, and headed to class. Most of the seats were taken, and for some reason, I moved this big red coat out of a chair I wanted, and sat there. I got this sinking feeling, that I was very under-prepared for the test, and started freaking out. After about 5 minutes of scrambling for notes and trying to absorb as much information as I could, this girl came up to me and asked why i moved her coat and why i'm sitting in her seat. I've met this girl before. The day I moved into my dorm (freshman year) I hopped into the elevator with my stuff, and she came in after me. She looked vaguely like a shorter Hayden Panettiere.
Anyways, I told her I needed a seat, and she was fine with that, and sat down next to me. As we sat there, the professor came in and announced she didn't feel like doing an exam, so she put in some movie, and we all watched that, instead. As we watched the movie, we talked about stuff, and shortly into the film, she rested her head on my shoulder. Pretty basic, but I'm going to have to say it was a good dream.
Dream 2
This is actually the first dream I have had the took place in my 'new' home. We've lived here for about 5(6?) years, and until last night, I'd never dreamt about this house. Well it was raining pretty hard, and the streets had 4 feet of standing water on them. Basically, all of the roads were converted to rivers, and it was awesome. I really wanted Wendy's, so I threw on some swim trunks and goggles, and swam downtown to get myself a fresh, juicy burger.
I remember swimming past people in canoes, and cars that were immobilized by the water. When I got to Wendy's, I was waiting in the drive-thru (swim-thru in this case) and a worker threw open a side door, resulting in a massive wave, and telling me that I couldn't use the drive-thru because I wasn't piloting a vehicle. So, despite not having shoes or a shirt, I walked in, and ordered a Baconator. This was when I realized that I didnt have my wallet on me. So I cancled my order, and swam back to the house.
As I was swimming upstream, my brother called from downstairs and woke me up.
dude i totally remember that girl! have you seen her since?
